How to be a man according to the Man.

Jesus is not nice. He wants to make your life better than it is right now, but he is not going to be nice about it. He is going to tell you exactly what is wrong with your life and your thinking. He is going to demand that you think and do exactly what he says instead of what you are doing now. He wants to burn it all down and start over.

If you are a young man, Gen Z, in your twenties, still figuring things out, the chances are high that Jesus would tell you to overhaul and repair every part of your life. He offers both power and instruction to do just that.

You are probably not happy. Jesus was clear that there would be no happiness for anyone but those who obeyed him. You will only find peace in submission to God and his Messiah. Jesus is not giving advice you can take or leave. Jesus is not your passive counselor asking you how you are doing. Jesus is not your cheerleader.

Jesus give you clear commands: live like this. But he also offers you forgiveness for disobedience and power to obey today.
